Don't know about the rest of you, but I hope she gets the gas chamber. Or lethal injection. Or both (just to make sure).
And before the anti-death penalty mob starts in ... okay, let's just keep her locked up for life without the possibility of parole instead. She's 13 now. She'll probably spend the next 60 years of her life in jail. Sixty years at about $25,000 a year in taxpayer funds to keep this waste of human life alive. That's $1.5 mil, kiddies, not adjusting for inflation. Three meals a day, a roof over her head, health care, cable TV, Internet access, a chance to take college courses ... she'll have a better life in prison than many law-abiding Kansas Citians do in the real world -- and she'll get to do it at our expense.
Here's an idea. All of you who are against the death penalty? YOU can scrape together a million-five and pay to keep this trash breathing and walking upright. For $20, I'll strap her in the chair and flip the switch myself.
