Speaking of being dropped by radio stations . . . It occurred to me local radio station 710 is hosting twisted reactionary Micheal Savage who is facing a bit of national backlash.
A Mississippi radio network dropped Savage's show along with several advertisers.
The latest controversy over Savage handing down phony medical advice and mean spirited comments about kids with autism seems to be the last straw with profit driven talk radio stations.
And this comes after so many his alleged gay bashing and derogatory comments about Muslims.
Personally, I could care less because I only listen to Darla Jaye and then Maybe Shanin and Parks while taking a walk . . . HOWEVER, IT SEEMS KIND OF FUNNY TO ME THAT KANSAS CITY IS BEHIND MISSISSIPPI IN TERMS OF GETTING SOMEBODY THAT OFFENSIVE OFF THE AIR!!!
Again, for the most part, I don't listen talk radio because folks farting out of their mouths isn't that interesting of a trick . . . However, it would be nice if the dude's show was challenged in Kansas City considering that the ratings that it pulls down aren't that great and there's enough pseudo science around here thanks to the proponents of Intelligent Design in Kansas .
That's right, Tony! Let's make it so that only those views we agree with can be broadcast! No one should ever be offended!

Just accept there are those that succeed in media and those that don't. It didn't work out for you because you're bad for business.
I know you're taking this personally because of your obsessively long post about your removal from KMBZ two days ago and your rare personal response to this thread which is hours old.
You're mad, and hurt, and you miss the attention already. We read you lound and clear. Attacking those that succeed in a medium in which you can't instead of being honest about your hurt feelings isn't very honest, sweetheart.
Keep writing. Maybe Prime Buzz will toss you a scrap and link you to a race relations story soon. Maybe a fresh rant on the mayor for the 3000th time? You're so fresh and unpredictable! Keep your fingers crossed.
