Voters should know that there is no real set price tag for light rail . . . Recent events in Seattle prove that funding light rail is kind of like giving local government a blank check. Certainly, there are differences between light rail in Seattle and KC but politicos, construction companies and architectural firms that want more money are universal. Via Nick Sloan.

The light rail in Seattle is totally a tourist thing. Most people drive or use the bus or walk.
