Camp KC has a great regional story about a couple known as the "Gay Travelers" who took off to Cali in order to get hitched.
While I think marriage is mostly a mistake for anyone, I realize that the Kansas City connection to the historic decision was decidedly underreported.
Also, the following photo is my only reference point for a truly "ghey" wedding:
Yeah, I'm sure the groom in this photo might claim to be straight but this wedding totally is teh ghey and much more of an affront to traditional marriage than homosexual dudes who want a tax break and property rights.
