ReplyDeleteI just don't see how they live with themselves. Any of the people who know that truth of what happened behind the scenes know that Ruth was treated horribly and they hoped she would quit on her own. Now they fired her, I know they'll lose the lawsuit.

Thus, she's not entitled to any representation from the city. Let the bitch and Funkee twist in the wind when it comes time to pay for the judgement. Maybe they can just take yet another mortgage on their run-down Casa de Funk or start pimping Joe and Kendrick out. (Heaven knows prostitution would be a step up from being a spokesperson for the Funk and Funk-ette.)

But back to the mess. This mayor has taken away job duties from Bates. He has had staff told not to talk to her. If they do, they will not be in the "inner circle"
He has kept her from staff meetings. Squit has composed a phoney office tree along with job duties. Bates was PUT into a clerk slot. She fought back, time and again. One council member told me last week that his staff saw Bates totally exhausted from stress and weeping in the restroom. BUT she got right back upstairs and stood her ground! She is not allowing squit to call her racial names. She is calling her on that. She will not condone the dirty talk that comes out of squit's mouth on a REGULAR basis. The dignity of the Mayor's office was defended by the person who was fired!
THE REMAINING AIDES SHOULD SUPPORT RUTH. THEY KNOW THE TRUTH. If they do not, then they are as soiled as squit
Maybe Mammy was just a bad employee and deserved to be fired.

ReplyDeleteBates fired herself by not taking the offer of being transferred to the Water Dept. It was the same pay, so why refuse! If I was so stressed and exhausted and crying in the bathroom I'd welcome a job change. Bates doesnt want to work..she's just looking for a free meal ticket.
