The Star is cutting staff (and shipping jobs to India). However, if they're really interested in slimming down there's one broad in a smart business suit who contributes absolutely nothing to their paper. Mary Sanchez has few connections in the Latino Community, her writing is mostly worthless and her main function as window dressing is insulting. Somebody, anybody would be better than a columnist who only offers lame, middle-of-the-road opinions that don't really satisfy anyone and most cater to corporate management trying to seem objective.
