After two years without, I've decided to run a small Google ad on this site. Most folks shouldn't notice it and it's in the Sidebar that I rarely like screwing with but I thought it was worth mentioning. Technically, they still owe me 19 bucks from back in the day but I doubt I'll ever collect. I'm not expecting much from it but I decided to take my graphic down because it wasn't really necessary and it generated way too many creepy Internet people wanting me to work for free. Ew.
That's about it for site news today other than the fact that I got an invite to speak at the KC Press Club event but I'm not sure my schedule (sleeping, snack cakes and X-box) will allow. Do you d-bags think I should make the time? For the most part, reporters in this town hate me and this site is popular because I take them apart with funny (to me) personal insults and a few neglected facts from time to time. Still, thinking . . .
More importantly, Heidi Klum is still very hot.
Go for it, Tony. If you want to show that bloggers should be taken seriously as journalists, this is a great opportunity. X-box can wait and you can probably bring your snake cakes with you.
ReplyDeleteum, if tony wants to demonstrate that bloggers should be taken seriously as journalists, he'll have to do a lot more than show up at a press club event ... a place to start might be to stop making shit up and printing it as fact, and stop calling women "broads" and posting nothing but racist bs sprinkled with insults, pervy comments and nekkid photos ... oh, and then grow a brain
ReplyDeleteGo for it. Why should I have to wake up and be on the panel while you sleep in??
ReplyDeleteIf you show up I will be nice to you. If not, there are no guarantees....
you say that to all the girls
ReplyDeleteYou should go -- no real journalists will show up because it's on a Saturday.
