The Mayor and Squitiro double up on precious downtown parking spaces while City Hall employees are forced out!!!

Here's the latest buzz around City Hall regarding executive privilege and it's impact on so many regular folks . . .

Yet another memo went out recently regarding City Hall parking. Apparently, employees who once parked for free or had their parking subsidized will now have to pay $85 bucks. Meanwhile, THE MAYOR AND HIS WIFE ARE TAKING UP TWO PARKING SPACES (and only a day after Earth Day no less!!!) and don't seem too concerned with the plight of City Hall workers.

Word is, morale is lower than ever at City Hall and I can't help but agree given that every day I get at least three e-mails noting how much City Hall employees can't stand Funkhouser.

Oh, and by the way this is just yet one more example of how people Downtown are being hurt by pricey and extremely limited parking.

  1. the city employees bitching about funk are afraid that they will be next. if they would quit bitching and start working and do there job there would be no fear of getting fired or let go.. its about time the city starts to get rid of the loafers and such. so these people bitching to tony deserve everything they get. 50 percent of the employees cant make in in private industry.

  4. as a city volunteer and not staff and not in a supervisory position she is not allowed to use the City Hall parking. (some one should tell her "boys" Joe, Kendrick and Crispen that Mom is not their supervisor)
Sometimes for special meetings and such arrangements are made for some visitors. The B--ch needs to move her car. April 9 city hall meeting a written question to the funk-ee "what is the role of your wife?" He answered.. "my wife.. that's what she is" then he went into some crap about no nepotism involved as she is only a volunteer and only acts as his assistant. Kinda goes against what he told staffers at some of the first mayor staff meetings.. "When she speaks to you she is speaking for me and deserves the same respect and attention as if it was me." And he also said to one poor worker that squit-ee was too shy to speak up for herself and lets others take advantage of her. True story..

Okay council, do you have enough justice to enforce city hall policy?
