Kansas City looks better on Cloudy Days

It's just an observation but I've always thought this town looked better on a cloudy day . . . Or at least the downtown skyline. Kansas City isn't a place like NYC that looks gorgeous from every angle . . . From the east, the downtown area looks small and confused, from the west we're nearly identical to every town in Iowa. Looking North from the Penn Valley Scout is the money shot enjoyed by photogs and formerly by a lot of teh ghey people and looking south I've always thought the place looked just like an insignificant array of streetlights . . . Right now the sun is trying to poke through the clouds and I hope it doesn't get a chance . . . I don't know if it's the remains of the depression era architecture or just my general dislike for most people in this town but downtown Kansas City looks better where there are clouds overhead.
