Blogging is a bitch

Blogger is being a bit of a bitch right now and the service has always had a bit of problem with image uploads and FTP posting . . . Still, for the most part they've been as reliable as I could hope for considering that they're free and I've managed to post more than 13,000 entries thanks with the help of the service. So I can't really complain.

An even more devastating blogger fact is that Just Cara is thinking of calling it quits . . . She is one of the best bloggers in this City and I hope she just needs a break. TKC is always a big fan of a comeback.

But I have to admit that the local blogging scene has suffered as of late . . . For the most part I blame it on the aging hipsters who meet up at local bars and have hijacked Kansas City's blogging community . . . Rather than share ideas, information and debate they're trying to turn Kansas City blogging into a lame social club.

Their groupthink and lame, sorta ironic posts have sucked the life out of this town's greater blogging community . . . Except for TKC of course, who has a lot of affinity for local bloggers (no homo) who don't shy away from a real debate or serve simply to promote the lonely KC Bloggers who are really just trolling the Internet for drinking buddies . . . I'm hoping that one day soon the majority of these d-bags will simply take their inconsequential discussions to Craigslist or whatever "progressive" message board other than KC Rag forum where their self-importance and self-congratulatory discussions for doing something like riding the bus can be reinforced.
