Kansas City political race war continues OR Transparency at City Hall = Everyone can see through the smear campaign against Terry Riley
The Northlanders aren't the only folks with access to the media any more and I'll venture to say that most, if not all, blog from Kansas City's Northland suck. Therefore Deb Herman and the Funky Bunch out to beat up on Terry Riley seems like cheap stunt that's inspired only to keep everyone's mind off of the $80,000 that Gloria Squitiro still hasn't accounted for . . . The Mayor's henchmen should think long and hard about raising questions about financial impropriety until their house is in order. But I guess some Chiefs tickets and a couple of charming calls from an Iphone can inspire anyone.
Oh, am I making an racial issue where none exists, d-bags? Or does anybody really care about City Document Management contract?

ReplyDeleteBullshit! Terry Riley MAY BE involved with jacking around contracts. The Audit has raised troubling questions. To call this "racial" is playing dumb. Clean government is a near impossibility, but if you are so damned flat footed about interfering with contracts and get huge warning signs pointing to you, then you will take the deserved hit. At this point it should be in the hands of the Municipal Ethics Commission. Good god TKC. Grow a brain. Not all of your friends are 100% good people. Commiserate with Riley, but do not think that the rest KC should look the other way.

It might be that racist motivations undercover real wrongdoings. That wouldn't make the Funky bunch good people, but it wouldn't exonerate Riley, either.
Personally, I think Riley is a joke for a handful of pretty good reasons. None of them involve his pigmentation.
I hope anyone who's going after him is doing so for real reasons and not his skin tone.

On a side note, if the thought of an orgasmic Deb Hermann doesn't cause you to throw up then you are fit to be the new Jackson Co. coroner.
Tony is our blog drama queen(no homo) he just likes to add some excitement to his stories by saying its racial motivated. More people likes to read bad stuff than good.

$80,000 has been put away for little Tony's college fund. Funkhouser was going to surprise him but thepaintmen ruined it. Dame you man.
anyone that thinks that riley hasnt taken money for favors is nuts. they only need to watch him and you can tell hes all about money but dont be surprised if wayne blocks some of the heat from the commission. theres more council and city manager thats on the take then you will believe. im hoping it all comes out and we can get on with it to savage the city
ReplyDeleteWhy is Hermann taking the heat for something she did not start? Is it because she is white? Why is it that when ever a black person does something wrong and is caught it is racial or they state someone is out ot get me? There are many things that need to be explained by many in the City - such as Mayor were is the 80K, CIMO were is the 800K for the new Police Academy, who will be the scapegoat for this copier mess, why was LT allowed to resign and not fired, why did Cauthen make her acting on her last days, why do we have council repealing what the city voted for (lightrail) and making law what we have not (smoking ban), what information was on the IRS tapes, and Ms. Mayor all on her own. THESE ARE THE THINGS KCMO NEEDS TO BE ASKING ABOUT!!!!
