So, today is the first business day of the week after the King Holiday. Mayor Funky promised a verifiable explanation for missing campaign funds on last week before he left town with his wife . . . Then nothing.
Now, we're at day five. I'm hoping Kansas City will get some kind of proof today and I wonder if your average d-bag would be allowed to leave town and go so long without a word if a similar amount of loot went missing from their job . . . I doubt it. Still, Mayor Funky would clear everything up by showing some receipts today for $80,000 worth of missing moolah from his campaign account. No word today, with documentation and not just promises, and I would think even a reasonable person could claim that he's officially stalling.
We'll see.
