Kansas City is pretty worthless during the winter (and most other seasons as well) . . . And that's not just TKC claiming as much, the allegation comes from this town's paper of record.
There’s not much going on here during these winter months besides the usual movies, live theater and shopping. It’s as if the community bunkers down and goes into hibernation. Call it the winter blahs.The article goes on to suggest that things might improve but that's just happy talk. The truth is that (decent) entertainment options are limited during this time of year unless watching the Mayor's demise counts as a pastime (it does) or measuring how fast the ass of a significant other expands can serve as entertainment.
That's because most KC people are too lazy to go out and find things to do. I for one find some event to go too every weekend!
