John Martin came from a school district in St. Louis School . . . And we all know how great STL schools are doing. Nevertheless, this was never about schools or students . . . It was always about money and who was getting the right consulting contracts. The new guy is more apt to pay off the right people, but he probably won't last long either. And don't look for a State takeover . . . I've heard they don't want anything to do with KCMO Schools. So Kansas City's greatest embarrassment continues . . . The only smart move is to avoid the train wreck altogether and help others do the same.
