Laptop swiped from UMKC student
I've seen this link three different places today. It's not really news but . . . Anyone who has set foot on the UMKC campus knows that it's not safe. I've always thought walking across Rockhill or getting through the parking lot at night safely was a bigger threat than personal theft but then again . . . College dorks believing propaganda about the place being just as good as the state colleges out in the sticks probably deserve to get robbed (not really).
Still, the combination of real world urbanism on the streets outside and higher ed indoors makes for an enlightening combo . . . Go Roos!
After they steal the laptop. Do they keep it or sell it?
