Here's a bit of analysis of recent letters to The Star supporting the Minutemen and/or attacking the NCLR: 2/3rds of the letters published today are from people who don't live in KC Proper, can't vote in this town and won't be affected by any loss of revenue.

A lot of those people you are referring to work and spend there money in KC proper so they should have an opinion in the matter. You are still an idiot Tony! I challenge you to write something worth reading....is that to much to ask?
ReplyDeleteBecause every single red penny spent by conference visitors will be spent in Kansas City proper.
ReplyDeleteYeah, try again.
It's a joke blog, remember?
ReplyDeleteJoke blog. No question of that.
ReplyDeleteMinutemen are in your underpants. Dance dance.
ReplyDeletetony even if they held the hispanic convention here the mexicans wouldnt spent there money in the west side. they would go to the plaza and crown center westport.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree 8:44.
ReplyDeleteTony,
ReplyDeleteDepending on how you count it, 2/3 of the people in Kansas City live in the suburbs so why shouldn't 2/3 of the letters in the Star be from the suburbs.
Are you saying that suburban residents opinions shouldn't count, if so isn't that just a little racist.
I'm not going to touch you minuteman controversy, but as a suburban resident I think we has as much a right to comment on issues effecting the city as any other resident.
Yawning..........
ReplyDeleteSteven,
ReplyDeleteDo you live in a place where you can vote for the mayor of Kansas City?
If you do, then comment away, if not, the STFU!
The second in command to the Minutemen is a Mexican American.
