Whole lot of links

Here's a bunch of links I'm reading this morning, also I recently discovered the blog of 23 year-old London Andrews who is on the glorious mission of driving around the country and looking sexy and busty (note: According to her many fans, her photos are a bit more interesting than about half of the stories listed here) . . . Sadly, there's no local angle since her tour isn't coming this way. Now on with the links:

  • STL Battle between homeless bums and advocates of gentrification rages as well.

  • Fire officials say a woman critically injured this morning in an Olathe duplex fire has died.

  • NOTHING CHANGES: Some KC Bloggers are still trying with all their heart to justify the election of Mayor Funky by a super slim margin despite the fact that TIF continues unabated (heh) and even to guy's promises on this front are more than he could deliver.

  • Huard Doesn’t Deserve It

  • Missed it earlier: Something new for the people to KC to get addicted to . . . Snus, a smokeless, spitless new tobacco product being test-marketed in Kansas City

  • 83K stolen from a Cass County old man from someone besides his children.

  • Remember, you're taking your life into your own hands whenever you drive on Missouri highways: "Missouri Highway Patrol officers had their hands full with two accidents that happened just 15 minutes from each other in the same area."

  • Weekend fire news here and here and in Olathe makes me glad I'm not a reporter.

  • New charter middle school opens in KC

  • Event celebrates Charlie Parker's achievement in fields unrelated to drug abuse.

  • One last fire story for good measure: Suspicious blazes ravage Kansas City, Kan., houses

  • Everything works out for the best in Wal-Mart Bulldog theft story.

    1. I think if you don't gentrify a city it'll just slowly die and deteriorate from within
