There is no paywall, there are always a lot of comments and it undoubtedly has the newest latest links you're looking for when it comes to KC Crime and other crime stories from around the country. Seriously, it's good to see KC's paper of record make a good move on the Internet for once and I've always noted that one popular blog creates traffic and conversation FOR ALL local blogs . . . Like it or not, that's the commie-like way the Internet works.
