I've long joked that Krazy Kris Kobach owes his entire career to hating Mexicans and now it seems that his vicious, vindictive and ultimately losing tactics could be getting him some serious credibility. Come to think of it, he'd be great in the Bush Administration considering that nowhere else has "failing upward" become an integral part of the office culture.
Still, I was stunned, floored and waiting to pack my bags to be deported when I read a local blogger post which notes that KC's own KKK is being put forth by conservatives for the Attorney General job.
The National Review filed this gem: Kris Kobach for AG
And now spawn of immigrants Michelle Malkin wants an equally well coiffed parter in making Mexican heritage a federal crime.
I guess it would satisfy all of the anti-immigrant sentiment as of late and would make the next year a living Hell on each and every Latino living in this country. So I'm sure it's a lot more serious than I initially suspected.
Damn.
Time to move back to Mexico Tony.
ReplyDeleteOMG NOOOOOOOOOOOO!
ReplyDeleteHowever you don't want to take anything Michelle Malkin writes, says or thinks too seriously.
This guy is a disgrace. I want neither Kansas City nor Kansas represented by him.
ReplyDeleteWhy do the Republicans always pick the worst folks from our area? John Ashcroft was enough, no more Mr. Bush.
I think maybe you mean as the head of homeland security, since Chertoff or whatever got the AG job, eh?
ReplyDeleteEither option is totally horrifying.
I'd take Ashcroft back over Kobach any day.
ReplyDeleteAs long as that sick SOB is on the Law School Faculty, UMKC gets Nada from me.
ReplyDeleteThis would be Hell.
Ashcroft loses to a corpse and ends up AG.
Kobach loses to an amoeba and could end up AG.
I really with they had counted all the votes in Florida.
I guess Debra Neal is out of the loop
ReplyDeleteI love Kris Kobach. He is my hero. You clearly can't understand him, so don't disagree with him.
