Stop your giddy school girl optimism, Priest Holmes in only back to pick up a check

So, all of you dorks who don't know how football (or the world) works are cheering at the return of Priest Holmes.

Well, hold on to your panties girlfriend . . . He's not making a serious effort, he's just making sure his contract doesn't run out and doing nothing more than picking up a check i.e. playing Chiefs fans for chumps.

The dude is still hurt, practically crippled and there is no way a running back comes back at 100% from the kind of injury he has taken . . . Still, that's no excuse not to get paid. Therefore, Priest still has my respect and ripping off the Hunt Family for a few mil is no great sin . . . Just don't expect him to contribute to the Chiefs in any significant way.

LJ is leaving too . . . And the quarterback the team has now is a decent back up guy but not really NFL material . . . Remember children, the word for this next Chiefs season is "rebuilding" . . . So cheer all you want, and flirt with the skank wearing red but NEVER take any effort undertaken by a Chiefs player seriously.
