Remember, they're still going to lose 100 games this season . . . Anyway, I guess this is the closest thing to good news.

    I think they might be able to hold out and only drop 90 this year. The baseball gods owe it to them after being subjected to the worst headline ever:

    2 months over .500 ball. They'll be short of 100 losses. My bet is somewhere around 85. Seems the fans are beginning to come back as well with a per game average over 20,000 this year including nearly 28K to see the Royals play the Rangers, a team with a nearly identical record and a similarly nearly unknown roster of players. Anyway, I'll eat my Steve Busby bobblehead doll if the team looses any games over 99.
