Local lost kid story of the day

Police Search For Missing Autistic Teen . . . And not that it matters much (it does) but the story was a bit confusing because they didn't explain why the "father" of the missing teen was Black and the photo revealed a white kid - not mixed race, but clearly white . . . It was just a distracting detail that could have been cleared up with one sentence and might have made me pay more attention to the facts in the story. I know, I'm a dolt but I'm sure I'm not the only low IQ member of the KC viewing audience who was confused.

Update: They found the kid.

  1. well, the father and son have different last names so there's a really good chance that this guy is his step father. it's funny that a black dad and white son are the most important part of the story to you. shows how much you don't care about the people and how much you care about their skin color.

  2. have you ever heard of adoption- you really are lost in a racist blur tony. quite frankly if the child had been black and the parent white you would have thought it racist if the story had explained the relationship.. you are clearly distracted and maybe even a little obsessed with race, think it through and learn from this benign post of yours please!

  3. Tony think it through? What? And ruin all his racist inspired preconceived notions. His mother taught him about diversity quite well.

  4. Anal 4:31.........parents don't teach kids about diversity. It just happens. Kids see each other as kids.
