Today the New York Times features Lidia's and a couple of Brookside chefs (Megan and Colby Garrelts who own Bluestem restaurant Westport) in an article about big time chefs and other gluttons in the food industry moving to the quaint Midwest.
The article was cute and condescending all at the same time, the only thing funnier is seeing the slightly monied hicks in Kansas City thinking that they are living the high life at expensive local eateries when, in fact, the proprietors tell all of their people back home that they're slumming.
Geez, you're even a jackass about a friggin restaurant article? Pull the string already...
ReplyDeleteOh lay off Tony, Mr. Anonymous. He can't help it that he's a big, fat, ugly Boy de Mamma living in Mamacita's basement and sticking cold Quik-Trip burritos up his asshole when he needs to get off (no homo).
ReplyDeleteThe most amazing thing is that both of you anonymouses above read the whole post...and then complained.
ReplyDeleteBulimic reading habits, anyone?
Mexican Chef, I dont think there are any. I have never seen one unless you count Taco Bell.
ReplyDeleteSoul food isn't really that good. But i do like the sweet potato pie.
