Scary Suburban bank robbery

Fox 4 has some pretty interesting details about today's bank heist at the Bank of America at 108th & State Line in KCMO: The would-be robber jumped out of some bushes near the bank at about 8:00 a.m. and hit the bank manager in the head with a pistol.

Two tellers were in the bank at the time.

The suspect forced his way inside. He made all the employees get on the ground, and crawl toward the bank safe which he attempted to get the employees to open.

The safe didn't open. So, the robber took money from the teller drawers.

He left in a car owned by one of the tellers. The car was later recovered.
