Crime Scene KC posts all the pertinent details on this case you might remember involving a 300lb father and son team killing a 115 guy at a Waffle House on Front Street back in 2001 and claiming self-defense because the dead man allegedly threw a butter knife their way. Alleged misconduct by the prosecutor was cited as the reason the conviction was overturned for the son.
