Land Trust of Jackson County is having an "everything must go" sale that's going to not only open up the gate for speculators but also decrease the chance for any more viable development in neighborhoods that have seen a lot of foreclosures (thank you subprime lenders) . . . KC hasn't come up with a decent development plan despite Funkhouser's talk about wanting to hear about "TIF for the Eastside first." Once again, this is an ongoing problem in Kansas City and the new Mayor hasn't really done anything but talk about this issue.
I thought it was just slanted TKC or the Star.
ReplyDeleteNope, she really toured an Olathe "green" office building (think some triple panel glass and recycled plastic based materials) as a solution to Greensburg's problems.
