Hoopz will save Hip-hop

Jeneé Osterheldt wants you to listen to uplifting Hip-hop artists, she wants you to stop the violence and maybe show some interest in a couple of cowtown DJ's who are using the whole "up with hope" pose in order to gain noteriety for their careers (and possibly make a difference) . . . And all of that would be great if she wasn't wearing ankle catchers for earrings in addition to the fact that when it comes to the so-called KC rap scene the only real role for women is that of a groupie . . . And Nadia Pflaum is the chicken head in charge of that occupation in Kansas City. Sooooooo, while I admire Osterheldt's column devoted to saving the world of rap music from itself and her attempt to promote a few local artists . . I can't say I condone taking any woman seriously, especially one who looks as if she's trying to pick up satellite radio on her earlobes.
