Because running from thugs is great exercise

The Kansas City Wizards recently announced plans to construct a temporary training facility and soccer fields in Kansas City's Swope Park.

This is just the kind of initiative that will take the team to the next level and eliminate some of the older players who don't know better than to avoid eye contact with a 17 year-old driving a 30k SUV.

Honestly, this could be a great attraction to come to the Southeast part of Kansas City. I know I'd be interested to watch soccer players conduct their footwork drills in between the discarded corpses of hookers. Also, there's the slim possibility that a broad could make it out of the trunk of a car and run onto the field ala Morganna and spice up a practice session with tales of her adventures that would be relayed with wild eyed excitement and underwear turned inside out.

The plan sounds like a winner or at least much more exciting than anything else related to soccer.
