It's all about taking it to the next level. Last night I shot, edited and basically funked around a lot with this video. It's featured on ritavalenciano.com as well.
I'm working on other videos as too, which is why I didn't get around blogging the news today but you should know that I'm also dedicating my spare time toward editing a video featuring Mark Funkhouser that I think is going to turn out pretty damn good. I promised one of his staffers (Joe) that I'd have it done by (last) Monday but the two hampsters powering my computer seem pretty worn out so I'm predicting that it'll be done sometime this evening even though I was hoping for sooner. Sorry.
By the way, thanks for all the nice e-mails and your concern about harsh comments. Thing is, if I cared about what anybody said, wrote or thought about how I get down or what I do . . . I wouldn't bother getting out of bed in the morning.
Put simply, the comments on this blog belong solely to the readers and I only edit them under VERY special circumstances. They are unmoderated, mostly unread and largely ignored (sometimes appreciated) but I think it's important to give every and anybody a chance to note whatever it is they want to spout simply to point out what the old print media and the MSM don't get . . . It's possible to have an opinion without wanting, needing or trying to shape other opinions.
SO, that's basically the spirit that in which I publish all of the content of this page and while I don't care what you think, I'm always glad you read. (Except for Greg Reeves. I can't stand that dude.)
On a final note, I love the woman featured in this vid and it's a tad presumptuous of anybody to think that their opinion would matter to me regarding her.
Eh, I'm rather defensive this afternoon but still in a nice mood. I didn't get my morning 6 pack. Time to work on that . . .

ReplyDeleteThat was pretty awesomely-delicious. Those videos take forever to make. Props to your sweet berries and juices for doing it. Don't bother addressing the haters out there in cyber-craziness. Some people hate for no reason. Unfortunately, most of them can be found on the internet. The internet is sort of like the computer geek's digital-alcohol. It's a social amplifer. Some peole get drunk off it and become pointlessly abusive, others get a little too happy and end up finding themselves sucked in by it and everyone using it, and still others use it only sparingly to help add another dimension to their lives from the ease it helps them connect with people and new ideas. I guess there are also some people that don't use it at all; and I guess that's okay too. But, without it they'd never get a chance to witness the extent of the funky, sweet insanity you grace your viewers with. I'm voting for the delicious Rita ticket. Politicians bore me. It'd be nice to have a normal person in office.

Normally I would let this type of stuff slide, but I woke up this morning with one nerve left and darrrrnnn if you haven't gotten on it!
For the record: I love my son Tony very much. I have NEVER been and could NEVER be embarrassed of him. I don't apologize for my kids -- never,ever.
As a single mother, I raised Tony and his two siblings to have strong opinions which he does (obviously). I take credit for the good opinions and defer responsibility for the bad ones to his dad.
I do not have or want control over any of my children at this stage in their lives. (Name one decent parent who controls their physically and mentally competent adult children? - if you do know someone who can do this, please give examples, I want to meet them -- really!)
So now some unsolicited advice for anyone who is offended by the scribblings of Tony and his monkey from my basement: If you have questions or concerns regarding the content of this blog - -- first, read the disclaimer on the side bar until you have it memorized; second, consider whether you meet the requirements to read this blog; and finally, email your concerns or comments to Tony. He's a big guy, he can take it.
Oh and one more thing: tell your momma that Tony's momma said she thinks that you might need a nap,ok?

Anyway, loved the video and it's actually inspired me to interview at least one mayoral candidate (who I won't name, lest it fall through). I'll let you know if/when it happens.
Great job Tony! Rita sounded great! You should Do a string of interviews showing her thoughts on different topics.
