Mark Funkhouser has formally announced his mayoral campaign. I don't know how to feel about this now given the fact that his candidacy so far has been "backed" by The Star, so obviously he's not the green candidate since his agenda won't involve much about recycling. But who cares? I'm sure he's qualified to do something other than leak documents to the press, which has been his only major political achievement so far.

ReplyDeleteTony, are you kidding? Funkhouser, is in my opinion, easily the most qualified candidate. I look forward to seeing how this plays out.
ReplyDelete"We need the 'Funk! Gotta have that 'Funk! Yow!"
Funk You! That's my vote!
ReplyDeleteI will vote for him because he is literally "none of the above." I suspect the political establishment will attempt to destroy him during the election and even more so if he succeeds... but, it's time to send a message to the do nothing council all of whom seem to be more preoccupied with running than governing.
ReplyDeleteHe's got my vote, especially since his latest audit pissed off Kay.
ReplyDeleteWhat document leaking is that? I know who leaked the reprimand from Mayor B, and it isn't Dr. Funkhouser.
ReplyDeleteBut then, I don't know where the leaker got a copy, come to think of it.
O.K. Tony, smells kinda Funky.
Will he throw his victory party at Funkytown?
ReplyDeleteWe called him Lurch at City Hall. Nice man. Terrible friends. Stackhaus? No way! Sorry Mark. Talk about baggage. She's the ultimate Bag.
ReplyDeleteglorioso leaks everything--the STAR loves him for it
