Documented proof that you shouldn't pay attention to anything women have to say

I couldn't help but notice a recent article that proves that violent young thugs in Kansas City have fallen off their game. The Star reports that a fight between two girls about a year ago touched off a dispute that escalated into at least six separate shootings in recent weeks.
The sixth (shooting) occurred Monday when occupants of a blue car drove past a truck parked in the 6200 block of East 12th Terrace and opened fire, hitting one person in the leg.

The victim told police he fired back. No one in the blue car was struck.

Shortly after the shooting, police arrested two cousins. Jackson County prosecutors on Tuesday charged both Juan Teran-Cordova, 19, and Humberto Cordova, 18, with unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action. Both cousins told police that Teran-Cordova fired at the victim only after the victim fired at them, court records show. They were in jail Tuesday night. Bond for each was set at $50,000.
I'm sad to note it but it's important to acknowledge that these dumbass, gun toting kids were local Latinos. KSHB was the first to break the story of the most recent shooting before The Star provided the background.

The recent bust of gun carrying cousins reminds of how stupid I was as a teenager and how I was VERY lucky to avoid getting caught up in similar dust ups that were rampant in my younger/dumber days.

Sadly, it isn't revealed what inspired the initial fight that subsequently inspired all of the shootings but I'm sure it had something to do with someone looking at somebody else the wrong way. What the local media won't tell you is that hard feelings over this kind of thing usually reverberate in the community over the course of years and not just months. Sigh . . . There are still so many parts of KC I can't show my face in because of ancient squabbles.

However, this story reminds me that Local Latinos love cRap music but have obviously failed to garner the most important lessons from the music. Mainly, that women aren't worth fighting over . . . Seriously, did we learn nothing from Jay-Z's last album in which he wisely maintained that he had "99 problems but a bitch ain't one?" Well, we should have learned something because I heard his latest release is horrible.

Actually, forget about the Hip-Hop influence or lack thereof, this kind of attention to women is completely out of place in Mexican-American culture given the fact that my Grandpa barely acknowledged my Grandmother's presence and they were married for decades.

There is no end to my disappointment in this story and the reports of beatch like behavior among my Latino brethren. It almost makes me wish that they (read: white people) would start deporting Chicanos like these instead of making life hard for mostly hard working mojados. So let's do that, starting with Edward James Olmos.

  1. Just goes to show...you're not as hot as you think you are, until you've inspired gunplay.
