This local blogger offers a good review of Planet Sub.
My vote is for Jimmy John's but only the one is Westport . . . Any chain place in the suburbs can blow me, even if they do hire nothing but Mexicans.
Please cast your vote in the comments.
Anybody who says Subway is openly admitting that they are teh ghey. Not homosexual, just teh ghey.
Seriously, write Subway and don't ever bother reading this page again.
Also, this vote is far more important than anything you'll be deciding tomorrow AND I was tempted to title this post "Bitch, Make me a sandwich!"
Mr. Goodcents. Sorry to be lame.

ReplyDeletePlanet Sub in Lawrence especially when they used to deliver more than subs back in the day. The Green Turkey at that time had a deeper meaning....
ReplyDeleteGood call on Jimmy John's. I really enjoy their wheat bread sandwiches from the right side of the menu.
ReplyDeleteCarollo's in the City Market has quickly become my favorite. The selection is limited but the sandwiches taste better than any I have found anywhere else.
ReplyDeleteDude, Jimmy John's has an "opening soon" sign downtown. Something around 10th and Grand, if I'm not mistaken.
ReplyDeleteYum.
Giovanni's on N. Oak. Turkey Club. 'Nuf said.
ReplyDeleteNew York City Bakery and Deli on Troost just north of Gregory.
ReplyDeleteSmoked cow tongue, pastrami, baby swiss, hot mustard & mayo on marbled rye. That is heaven.
Planet Sub is OK, but can't compare.
Mr. Goodcents? Are you freaking kidding??!!!
