The first TroostAvenue.com Tulip Project planting date is this Saturday, October 28th and volunteers are needed to help prepare the beds and plant the tulip bulbs. Subsequent planting dates are on Saturdays 11/5 and 11/11/06. Crews will be working beginning at 8AM till dusk on Troost Avenue between 24th and 76th Streets.
Thanks for posting this Tony, I have been involved in this project from the start and it is really about building community - and taking responsibility for my own neighborhood. I have made several wonderful new friends and have learned many valuable lessons...
