Craigslist Prank in KC

This would be stupid to ignore so I'm linking this (NSFW) site that claims to have "busted pervs" . . . Only to warn anybody who uses this garbage. I really just want people to know this: Don't use Craigslist to pick up anybody and realize that everything on the net shouldn't be taken too seriously.

Personally, I blame the "gotcha journalism" practiced by the MSM and the fact that a lot of people see it and then want to imitate the practice. But the truth is that it would be easy to take someone's identity, e-mail address or photo and simply put it on the net and claim all kinds of things about them . . . I do it regularly but most of my garbage is at least halfway entertaining and all done in a clearly jokey manner.

Recently, I visited the Craigslist Perverts site and it lists a ton of information about married (and some single????) guys trying to pick up a 19 (READ: LEGAL) year-old woman.

The author of the page calls these guys pervs but apparently isn't familiar with the statistics which indicate that MOST MEN CHEAT along with an INCREASING NUMBER OF WOMEN who are cheating as well. Put simply, infidelity is an American pastime. Calling these people pervs just doesn't make any sense when you think that people who are monogamous are actually the deviant group. I'm familiar with the whole, goofing around on the Internet and "casting down lightning bolts from the higher moral ground" routine . . . That's my thing man, except it's usually regarding some local issue that only about a dozen people care about anyway. Also, politicians, journalists and real estate developers aren't really human.

If you read the page, just remember that none of those guys have done anything illegal and the site is merely the unsubstantiated claims of someone who lied about their identity in order to gain personal information. And here's the important part: Everyone needs to know that there are people lurking on the Internet who want to use the details of your personal life for their profit or entertainment. You don't trust minorities, so it's best to be suspicious of folks on the Net just like you would any person of color applying for a job.

Don't flirt on Craigslist folks . . . You're just gonna get burned one way or another. I know embarrassment is much easier to get over than chlamydia but it's best to pick up whatever you're gonna get from a friendly local bar skank; at least that way you'll be putting money back into the local economy.

Update: When I send photos of my cock out into the world I always use one of my favorite sites, don't bother looking at it. NSFW in the extreme, you may even get fired for thinking about it. Also, those things are plastic but the stereotypes are funny enough and real.
