An endorsement in an angry tone

Here's the thing about the political season, nothing is too petty that it can't be made into a campaign issue. In a recent post, some Republican splog is taking shots at KC Councilman Terry Riley for his recent endorsement of Claire McCaskill in a so-called "angry tone."
Riley takes a very aggressive and angry tone when speaking about Missouri's Junior Senator (Jim "No" Talent). His comments were absurd and totally unacceptable, especially when coming from an elected official.
Two problems I have here . . . Terry Riley's angry tone is the least of his shortcomings. His biggest concern should be that his district is a dump . . . Literally, for bodies, asbestos and trash. Additionally, the whole "Black people should vote for _____ because I'm Black and I'm getting a favor in exchange for this endorsement" is really an insulting strategy in this day and age . . . It's embarrassing for a KC politico to be that obvious.

And then you really have to consider The Source - not the shitty hip-hop mag for those of you who might get the two confused. The more I think about it, the more I really don't like any of the residents from the center of this state. If I had my way, KC would be a city-state with only a regional affiliation with STL that would merely include a clause that we agree not to kill each other when traveling for sporting events . . . The rest of Missouri can go screw itself. These people are pretty much human trash and they exist mainly to provide background research material for anyone who wants to do a history of jokes about screwing your sister. Please know that there is no reason to get off of I-70 other than for porn, strippers, maybe a wine tasting (ugh) and possibly a Walnut Bowl . . . The last two are only slightly related (No homo).

Anyway, The Source strikes me as one of those blogs run by an imp of politicos or maybe even GOP party activists themselves. It's not an opinion from a real person, just a collection of crap handed down from the main office . . . In other words, just like Terry Riley, it's all politics and no substance. Word to PAC's and the Ozark Mountain Daredevils.

Hat tip to Dan for the link.

P.S. - Don't think that I'm endorsing Claire in this post because the fact that she's a chubby white woman partnering with a Black dude pretty much means she's desperate like every other fat, blonde chick I've seen in similar situations. Sadly, her strategy to get with Riley may turn some people off but I didn't like her much before she swung that way . . . When I vote in this election I'll probably just hold my breath and pray, very much like anybody who gets into bed with Claire . . . Isn't that right, Terry?

  3. I thought Riley was a salesman for beauty shop products. I'm sure he is the guy that pulls up pops his trunk lid and carries shampoo into beauty shops.
