I didn't feel like there was any need to blog the story of the recent Olathe bank robbery because of the circle jerk in which the local TV news stations are engaging. If I have to see the pasty white thighs of those women hostages escaping the scene one more time on my TV, I'm gonna . . . actually, I guess it's not that bad, but it's not news anymore.

All of the TV news media seem to be milking every bit of sex appeal out of this story because of the great video and lurid details of the event.

Federal charges were filed Thursday against a 44-year-old Kansas man accused in a bizarre bank robbery in which several people were forced to strip to their underwear and taken hostage before the accused gunman was shot trying to commandeer a plane.

Really, the only reason I'm linking this story is to remind all of the bored husbands and wives out there to have a safe-word and not get too carried away when re-enacting this event during the Saturday night run through.
