From The Star:
As if this story wasn't creepy enough, this next passage will leave you wondering about all of the sopranos in the church choir:
Ugh. Not a high note for people of faith or fans of church music. In fact, this story might make you encourage your teenager to listen to death metal . . . that way nobody will want anything to do with him/her.
A church musician lured two teenage boys into a van in August and molested them, according to Jackson County grand jury indictment issued last week.
Eli A. Williams, 24, was charged Friday with sexual misconduct, second-degree child molestation and two counts of first-degree child molestation. He was in jail Tuesday night, with bond set at $25,000.
Williams worked as a musician at several churches in the area, according to one of his former employers. He listed "clergy" as his occupation on a police report.
As if this story wasn't creepy enough, this next passage will leave you wondering about all of the sopranos in the church choir:
A 13-year-old boy talked on a telephone chat line with a person he thought was a female. The "female" said she would have sex with the boy, and a friend would pick him up at his house.
Williams allegedly arrived about 2 a.m. at the boy's home in the 4300 block of Bellefontaine Avenue and allegedly said he was the woman's friend. Police think Williams had pretended to be a female on the phone.
Ugh. Not a high note for people of faith or fans of church music. In fact, this story might make you encourage your teenager to listen to death metal . . . that way nobody will want anything to do with him/her.
