BlogKC reports that the stem cell debate in Missouri may impede progress at the Stowers Institute. It seems that the recent Midwestern hostility to all things science doesn't bode well for the economic future of the region. Let's pray that NASCAR and church bake sales can make up the difference. (They can't)
