Kindred Hospital Kansas City, which does business as Kindred Hospitals East LLC, will close in January, according to a Missouri state filing. The transitional care hospital, located at 8701 Troost Ave., will close sometime between Jan. 6 and 20. The closing will affect 115 employees, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act filing.

RideKC says the city bus makes more than 45 stops at this intersection during the day and is a big reason why this intersection is so busy for pedestrians and drivers.
