Harmless Yet 'Suspicious' Kansas City Backpack Detonated By Authorities

Morning reminder that Kansas City remains afraid of outerwear rather than any number of real threats against City Hall by way of corporate consultant. Another example:

'All clear': Suspicious package detonated near federal building, no explosives

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Multiple streets in downtown Kansas City were shut down after a suspicious package was found just off the sidewalk of federal property Monday. At approximately 9:20 a.m., FOX 4 received notification from police that the package was detonated with a controlled explosion and did not contain any explosives.
