SHAME!!! KANSAS CITY TOY TRAIN STREETCAR PART DEUX MOVES FORWARD WITHOUT VOTER CONSENT!!!

Legal move trickery with no opposition moves the toy train past another hurdle as proponents of the extension that was ALREADY REJECTED BY VOTERS A MERE TWO YEARS AGO is now back on track.

We'll have more on this later but for now take a look:

KCRTA: 16th Circuit Court waives judicial hearing in streetcar case

Written by David Johnson

On Aug. 19, the 16th Circuit Court held a status conference on the streetcar extension case and KCRTA asked the Court to forego the judicial hearing as permitted under the TDD Act when no one files an opposition in the proceeding.

Under such circumstances, the court can make its ruling based on the pleadings alone. The judge decided to do so.

The TDD Act expressly permits this when no opposition to the legality of the proposed district needs to be ruled upon by the Court. Considering that two prior courts have reviewed this same structure and finance plan before and found them to be lawful, we anticipate that this proposed district will be certified for voter consideration by the Court as were the prior proposals.

This only affects the judicial hearing that would have been held on Sept. 16. The Court will still hold the public hearing on Sept 15, as previously noticed. Assuming the Court certifies the district for voter consideration as anticipated, the Court would issue that order sometime after Sept. 15.

You decide . . .

FOCK THE KCRTA!

Proving that certain behavior is “legal” does not prove that it is ethical or just. That’s because corrupted political systems, by definition, often protect and legalize exactly the behavior that is most unjust.

Yea, they're from rural Kansas and Nebraska and they advocate discriminatory voting practices for overpriced transit that doesn't serve low income communities. You can connect the dots...

Such a scam.

"as permitted under the TDD Act when no one files an opposition in the proceeding."

So none of you whiners bothered to file an opposition? But now you want to whine some more?

Sounds like someone had their cake and now has to sleep in it!

Overall I think everyone is realizing they are all victims of a lunatic upper class growing crazier by the day due to being further and further removed from normal human society. Unable to even being to relate to humanity these fockers might as be aliens that need to be expunged from our lives forever.

I told you all this would be shoved down your throats.

^^^^ Dave called it.

But I have to agree in some part with the first comment at 7:53 - There should have been some opposition. Was Clay Chastain busy that day?

Super Dave said...

8:02 If 50 people had been in opposition on this mater I seriously doubt it would have had any effect. The fix is in and if the voters don't get out and kill it and kill it again the next time if rears it's ugly head.

Hey no opposition, no opposition. Even a washed-up country club towel boy like Stupor Dave knows that!!!

^^^^^Your stupidity is getting very old

The stupidity of some country club toilet cleaner who thinks he's Einstein is even more galling.

But I'll give Stupor Dave credit. He eventually did get a promotion cleaning toilets.

After five years they gave him a brush.

The global warming crowd is justified in their liberalism to rule in your best interest.

Does anyone know how big the Federal grant will be for the expansion? The feds are paying for half of the cost of trolley systems in other cities. Our trolley folks need to be doing their work in Washington DC. Before there is any thought of another CID vote, there needs to be an explanation of what the Federal participation will be.

Yep, shocker. See you guys at the extension groundbreaking

Massive tax increase in the proposed District!!! If you oppose show up on Sept 15...or if you are no-shows sit in the coner with the Germans who failed to stand up to Hitler!!

Supposedly the expansion needs $100 million in federal money to build it. There's no guarantee that even if 320 people vote for it like voted for the downtown streetcar that the feds will kick in the money. Barry will be out of office along with his trolley boy Sec'y of Transportation Fox. No telling at this point what the situation with giving money to losing g causes in KC will be a year from now. A vote for Trump is a vote aginst streetcar expansion for sure.

I doubt that Trump would give a shit. He's a developer. This is the sort of shit he has pulled for years.

How will they secure the $ for these pet projects. Who pays for it. How large of a burden will this be for the poor souls who reside in kcmo. Boy this is the rub, a useless Xmas tree tram, torn up river market, ghettp schools ghetto crime, prefer to have 300 mil invested in training then a faggot train. They know this is a shit sandwich, fucking criminals.

Why is this city encouraging David Johnson? Why can't he find his place in Orlando or DC where his people like to hang out.
