I never expect much from the Star. I'm rarely disappointed with them.
ReplyDeleteThe Star has just a few reporters left on staff and most of those are either parked at KCMO city hall relaying non-stories, or are right out of J-school and couldn't tell you the difference between Lenexa and Liberty.
ReplyDeleteWhen the editorial staff rags on Kansas state government day after day, but the actual reporting from Topeka that's published in the paper is by a reporter from Wichita, that pretty much tells you where our local "paper of record" has fallen.
Blame the young interns. Two to tango, yaba daba doo! The experienced 'professional', especially MARRIED, and in public service should be held to highest standards.
