Before political consultant Pat Grey died, he was pushing a poll that claimed Mayor Sly's popularity was at something insane like 60% but that was before streetcar defeat. Those numbers might have softened a bit but still didn't encourage Dan Cofran to challenge him. Is Mayor Sly the king of Kansas City's popularity contest Democracy???
