Kansas City Congressman Cleaver Stands Up 4 Prez Obama Immigration Executive Action!!!

While the GOP is opposing Prez Obama on all fronts and via lawsuit, discussion among our blog community reveals that Kansas City residents stand mostly against the Executive Action effort . . . Meanwhile, Congressman Cleaver is Kansas City's most influential elected official within the Beltway and he recently advocated the recent White House power move.

Congressman Cleaver Via FB: "Our immigration system is broken and the American people overwhelmingly support reform, but our partisan politics have precluded progress in Congress. The President’s announcement provides relief to millions of hard-working, law-abiding immigrant families across the nation, secures our borders, and prioritizes enforcement against the worst criminals and threats against national security. I support President Obama’s ‪#‎ImmigrationAction‬. It’s legal, it’s needed, and it’s the right thing to do."

  1. Once again, you stupid fucks, the Immigration System is NOT broken. Enforce the laws on the books and secure the fucking border.

"The Immigration System Is Broken" is a faulty premise that seeks to distract and hypnotize the chickens in the American barnyard so that politicians can maneuver and manipulate the electorate into supporting an agenda.

The fucking agenda is to replace voters they don't like, who vote against their agenda, with voters they do like, who will vote for the Bread and Circus Gubmint bennines in return for Democratic sinecure and a Socialist State, as corrupt ,venal and pernicious as Kansas City, Detroit, East St. Louis etc etc. Some day, not only will we all live in Detroit, Pastor Brooks will be President.

  3. Again with "The American people" want immigration reform. Which American people?

  4. So Cleaver endorses illegal action and abuse of executive action?? How would he feel if a Republican President would have done this? Hypocrite.

    Mr. Tony,
This American patriot and nearly everyone that I personally know wants immigration reform.
I have a real life in which I personally know and interact with a substantial number of educated, smart and thoughtful people who vote. Some are Republicans, some Democratic and a few identify with other parties.
Informed voters know that Republicans have used Executive orders. Get informed. Or stop lying.

    1. This order may be too broad and unconstitutional. Reform is a law and must be passed by Congress then sent to the President to be signed or vetoed. Obama had many years where the Dems had a majority and he could have easily started to fix the system years ago.

  8. Despite the fact that the influx of additional poor people into the labor force will hurt Blacks the most, Uncle Manny shows his support for his masters. Uncle Manny is a good house nigger and what his masters want comes before what his people need. If Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. were alive today and see the state of Black leadership with Uncle Sly and Uncle Manny, I am afraid poor heartbroken Martin would shoot himself.

  10. I support immigration reform. I support it because my faith asks that I support compassion for the immigrant. I do so out of kindness, and love. I do not believe we should have an open border, or that we should hand out mass citizenship. I believe we should secure the border and ENFORCE the laws pertaining to border security. That said, the only reason the President made his this move was to preempt the Republicans. It was a Constitutionally IMprudent move. Was it legal? I dont know, but it certainly is not in the spirity of the Constitution. No matter the issue, be it the Hawks on the right pushing for more mass surveillance in the name of "security" or the lefty President using unsavory manuevers to further his agenda, I always side with the preservation of a strong Constitution. And in this case it means I cannot support the President's action.

  11. besides 'enforcing current immigration law', the reform needed is in changing the 'citizenship by right of birth'. The US and Canada are the only developed countries with such immigration law. In order to be a 'US born citizen', at least one parent should be of legal status.

    ReplyDelete
  12. 10:48 unfortunately its looking like the discussion on reform may be tabled until after 2016. That is unfortunate, because it would have been a win-win for a comprehensive bill to have come out in the next 2 years. The President would have gotten a large portion of the credit by virtue of being the most visible member of government, and the Republicans would have been able to ensure that the reform included the measure most important to them, border security.

For the life of me I cannot understand why President Obama did as he did.

  13. Try immigrating from the United States to another country like Canada. You must show the Canadian government you have resources and skills not to be a burden on their country. Try Mexico. If you are in their country illegally, you go to jail and if you become a naturalized Mexican citizen, you do not have the same full right as natural born Mexican citizens.

    ReplyDelete
  14. 11:01 I suppose I fail to understand your point. Are you suggesting we model ourselves after Mexico or Canada? Are you suggesting we maintain the status quo because we are already better than Canada and Mexico?

    ReplyDelete
  15. 11:01 Here. What I am saying is that civilized countries have immigration standards and do not let everyone in. Your second sentence makes no sense. I do not suggest we maintain the status quo because the status quo is turning America into a Third World country. Yes, the United States is better than Mexico and I do not want to see it become a Third World Country by Mexico dumping their illiterate, unskilled and unwanted people on us so they can drain resources.

You understand, you are just a Libtard troll.

  17. 11:55 actually I run an automated phone bank (ie robocaller) that I activate and lease exclusively to Republican candidates. I have been a registered Republican since 1971. Sorry if I offended you. And no I wasn't dropped on my head that I know of.

Obama and Cleaver are two lying Africans! Neither one of these two clowns respect the constitution. While Obama is suppose to be a constitutional lawyer, he has systematically trashed the constitution and should be impeached as soon as the new congress is sworn in. Cleaver has no business in Congress, typical democrat crook that fails to pay his bills in the same ilk as Charles Rangel, Dan Rostenkowski, et al.

  22. Rev Cleaver, the RIGHT thing to do is to pay your bills!! Why didn't you pay the loan on your car wash?? Why did you have to be sued over it? Why will you now not pay the judgment against you?

    Pay your bills, Congressman DEADBEAT!!

  23. Lets see how Cleavers political career goes. I am betting the majority of KC blacks that have voted for him are not in favour of this amnesty crapola.

  24. Carwash Cleaver must hate hard working African Americans. Giving work permits to 5 million +/- illegal aliens is going to create much more competition for low and semi skilled jobs. When the supply of job applicants increases and the number of jobs stays the same, there can be only one result - low end wages will decline. Either he is too dumb to figure this out on his own, or he is too much of an overseer on the Democratic Party plantation to mention it.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Why would ANYONE dare listen to Congressman Carwash?

He committed financial FRAUD to illegally obtain an SBA loan, purportedly to buy a carwash. No local media, that I'm aware, bothered to track the money trail.

Recall, that when Rev. Carwash initially ran for Congress, his campaign was poorly funded, and he was quite fortunate to even survive the primary, let alone eke out a win in the general election.

And isn't it strange that his KC corporate business attorney supporters who raise funds and serve as campaign treasurer for him, didn't steer him away from such a terrible carwash investment? Of course, some speculate that it was a sham investment from the get-go, and a method to divert loan proceeds toward another use. Go figure!

Mrs. Carwash has held positions with the KCMO School District, Swope Health, and several other taxpayer subsidized entities.

Daughter Carwash currently holds a Vice President title at the KC Port Authority. I'm sure this was a well-advertised opening and not a matter of having Congressman Carwash make one phone call to a political ally who leads the group.

Nothing suspect here. News media may continue burying their heads in the sand.

  26. OK Cleaver! Let us assume you are correct and the immigration system is all fucked up. Isn't that a reason why YOU should not be reelected given that fixing the immigration system is YOUR job. Instead of working to fix these alleged problems you operate like the State politicians in Ferguson. Rather than doing something to enact this immigrations change you feel is needed you run out of the Capital pissing, moaning and ginning up press about the very Congress where you pick up your paycheck. So given that you have the answers where is the legislation you have introduced to fix the immigration issues? Yeah, right, you haven't done jack shit. Tax payers don't elect folks to hear rhetoric.

  27. 6:56, Amen! Keep calling Deadbeat Carwash out on his antics. Maybe people will wake up.
