DeleteWhen is the vigil for the black youth killed in Chicago, double digits almost weekly. Not a fuckin peep. Crickets. Young blacks are killed and killing with such regularity these "concerned citizens" could have a vigil a day, but they don't. In comparison to black on black murder rates, cop on black killings or white on black killings are as rare as snow in July. Most sensible people recognize this for what it is, a money grab for the race hustlers, and an excuse for the least productive in society to act like feral animals .

If the State Attorney General is unable to conduct a thorough, unbiased investigation then Eric Holder's office should step in. At this level of distrust, local authorities have their hands tied.

If the kid was really fighting an armed cop, he got what should be expected. If the cop was a loose cannon and the kid had his arms raised, he should spend the rest of his life in prison with a bunch of people who REALLY don't like ex-cops. Again, until we really know what happened these riots do nothing but prematurely cloud the waters, sully what might be a legitimate concern, and give some an excuse to continue their pattern of lawless behavior.

Two African American youth walking down the “middle of the street”. The Bear assumes the sidewalks were either under renovation/repair or were not wide enough to afford comfort while walking side by side…arms swinging wildly.
A cop drives up and “tells them to get out of the street”. Now the officer could have “ask” Big Mike and Nappy to move to the sidewalk but instead he “told them to get out of the street”. He has the authority to do that. While being quite rude, it is common place.
Now the story gets “one sided”. We have not heard from the officer. And when we do, many feel his version of the events will be “coached”. Same goes for “Nappy’s version”.
Nappy stated on CNN that he and Big Mike were strolling down the street when the officer told them to get out of the street. Big Mike told the officer they were going somewhere. The officer started to drive off, then suddenly stopped, quickly opened his door which hit Nappy and Big Mike knocking officer back into his patrol car. At this point the officer grabs Big Mike by the throat. Big Mike struggles to “get away” and the officer pulls his gun and fires at Big Mike. Nappy didn’t say if Big Mike was hit with the shot. Big Mike breaks free and starts running down the street. The officer fires again, hitting Big Mike and Big Mike turn with his hands raised telling the officer he was unarmed. At this point the officer shoots Big Mike 7 additional times and Big Mike falls to the street shaking violently as he dies. Nappy said he then ran away as he vomited from seeing Big Mike shot, and flopping in the street.
While the Polar Bear is not overly fond of the “Hoodisrattis Urbanis” criminal element, let the Bear be perfectly clear. Police running off the reservation is not acceptable under any circumstances. As it appears to be the case in Killa City, where a off duty cop breaks numerous rules and chases, and kills a off duty firefighter, this type of action by cops, either on or off duty, is totally unacceptable.
With that said. Burning Quick Trip is far from normal behavior. While the Bear doesn’t normally frequent QT because of the crowds, they seem to be a decent company that loves to sell “Big Gulps”. I would imagine one could find several empty Big Gulp cups in the basement where this blog originates. Burning and stealing in the name of Big Mike is simply a excuse by the criminal element that seems to run rampant in the hood.
“Hoodisrattis Urbanis” criminal elements are always looking for any opportunity to do their dirty. The Polar Bear thinks this “Do Gooder stunt” that is organizing the “vigil on the Plaza” tonight is just setting the groundwork for the opportunistic “Hoodisrattis Urbanis” to do what they do best. Destroy, steal, burn, loot, rape, jack, deal, wheel, and peel.
Nope, shooting Big Mike 9 times while he is running unarmed is wrong and that cop should feel the full justice he deserves. We knew al Sharpton, Negro Grifter in Chief, and his legal counsel, Uncle Benjiman Crump, from Travon Martin fame, would show up and the shit would start. And it will get worse.
