The Kansas City Late Night Look Ahead

Tonight, let's take a quick look at what's on deck for the morning update and a wild week of Kansas City political fighting ahead.

To wit . . .

TRIPLE SHOOTING TONIGHT SIGNALS KANSAS CITY VIOLENCE RISING ALONG WITH THE TEMPERATURES!!!

Three people shot near 67th Street and Wabash Avenue is simply the latest sign that so-called "progress" against local violence is hard fought and takes more work than most people realize.

As always, there's a bit of local pushback against International events on The Plaza even if it doesn't really impact the people of this cowtown or at least overestimates the power of Sunday complaining: Gaza conflict sparks protest in KC's Mill Creek Park

Immigration remains a beast of a problem and it seems our blog community is setting the agenda for local media . . . We talked about the death train on Friday and now mainstream media along with Silly Mary Sanchez is following up our discussion: KC Southern caught in migration debate

And yet, we still have time to celebrate good deeds of local denizens who are helping those in need like that gully "Great Balls Of Fire 5K" bit of AWESOME: Runners hit the road to raise awareness and money for testicular cancer

Accordingly, we've got all this and SO MUCH MORE coming up very soon as we celebrate our KICK-ASS FREE SPEECH ZONE, so many haters who can't help but hang on the every word of our blog community, our ongoing search for hottie lingerie and bikini model white broads, truth and the American way. Hopefully, we'll have a great deal more debate, discourse, discussion and all kinds of good stuff in just a few . . . STAY TUNED!!!

  4. Agreed. No more Glazer. Seems the blog has gone entirely downhill just from today's post. Off the cliff.

  6. You do your blog absolutely no favors by featuring this Glazer idiot, Tony. Just sayin'.

  7. Why did Mayor Sly James say the Nazi's had a free speech issue with the county last November?

  10. Today's Anti Israel protesters are tomorrow's terrorists against the United States.

  11. I'm sick of these stupid ratchets having such poor aim. There can be a quadruple shooting and none finished off which means taxpayers are on the hook for hospital stays for the targets.

  12. Reassuring to know that local Arabs think firing thouisands of high-explosive warheads at Israeli civilian communities -- day after day, week after week, month after month -- is not a problem.

Hamas, by the way, before it focused on the rocket-attack game, sent about 80 suicide bombers into Israel. About 1,000 Israeli civilians, some of them Arabs, were blown to pieces in market places, buses and restaurants.

Israel pulled out of Gaza in 2005 -- even evicting Gaza's Jewish settlers -- and turned it over to its Arab inhabitants, who promptly elected Hamas to be their government. So much for giving peace a chance. A ballot is a powerful weapon. Calling Gaza's newly dead civilians innocent bystanders is ludicrous. Karma is a bitch.
