Just as TKC TIPSTERS TOLD YOU FIRST . . . This ground has enough signatures and today they to stop Kansas City’s effort to privatize ambulance billing, they turned in hundreds of pages of petition signatures Tuesday to try to force a public vote on the issue.

This is ridiculous. Its 20 jobs and no one is getting laid off. All those employees were being offered jobs with the same pay within the city. They just don't want to go to another department because their lazy asses will have to work and not sit around watching judge judy in the commons area.

tell the community where to sign the petition to stop fire department from outsourcing in Kansas city; I think it is just great that sly is pushing this light rail and airport down our throats; but he doesn't want people to make a decent wage; or defend present jobs; so we are to pay all these new taxes with minimum wage jobs
ReplyDelete5:40, well well, well, then the outsourcing is even worse, because there will be zero cost savings. So no money will be saved as the Mayor said this would create efficiencies and save money. What BS.
ReplyDeleteOf course, 6:22 (1), this actually has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE STREETCAR, which also provides good union jobs for the drivers, the union construction workers and the union maintenance, all of which pay decent wages and have decent benefits.
