Petition To Stop Kansas City Fire Department Outsourcing By Mayor Sly Stays Winning

Just as TKC TIPSTERS TOLD YOU FIRST . . . This ground has enough signatures and today they to stop Kansas City’s effort to privatize ambulance billing, they turned in hundreds of pages of petition signatures Tuesday to try to force a public vote on the issue.

Do you just tack on "Stays Winning" to be cool?

That is SO 2010!

This is ridiculous. Its 20 jobs and no one is getting laid off. All those employees were being offered jobs with the same pay within the city. They just don't want to go to another department because their lazy asses will have to work and not sit around watching judge judy in the commons area.

Whoa there wild man 5:39!
Tell you what, when you start your own blog you get to be as cutting edge with the parlance as you want.
The problem of course is that it would suck and no one would read it. But you of course already knew that.

tell the community where to sign the petition to stop fire department from outsourcing in Kansas city; I think it is just great that sly is pushing this light rail and airport down our throats; but he doesn't want people to make a decent wage; or defend present jobs; so we are to pay all these new taxes with minimum wage jobs

5:40, well well, well, then the outsourcing is even worse, because there will be zero cost savings. So no money will be saved as the Mayor said this would create efficiencies and save money. What BS.

Of course, 6:22 (1), this actually has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE STREETCAR, which also provides good union jobs for the drivers, the union construction workers and the union maintenance, all of which pay decent wages and have decent benefits.

Well shit fire, I would hope they turned in hundreds of pages, since they need close to 8,000 registered voters to force a vote. Now, those signatures have to be validated.

7:44 Of course it(TDD Streetcar) takes millions out of the pockets of all workers living in the "district" for an entire generation! VOTE NO on this trickle down economic crap.

You do not understand what "trickle down economics" means.

it's a fire dept, not welfare office. if it can be done better and cheaper somewhere else, do it! signed: a taxpayer.
