Just heard from an AWESOME TKC TIPSTER that the Kansas City Election Board has certified that the number of signatures on the petitions notifying the city of the intent to circulate referendum petitions on the ambulance billing privatization ordinance is adequate.

KANSAS CITY URBAN CORE AND UNION ACTIVISTS ARE READY TO SMACK DOWN MAYOR SLY AND CINDY CIRCO ON THEIR BAD POLICY MISTAKE!!!
The signature quota is around 7k and could soon force an election regarding the fight against privatization at City Hall.

Privatization of city services is just an excuse to fleece the taxpayers for more money while paying the people who actually do the work less. It takes money away from our coummunity and makes us all poorer. I guess that's why Sly and the Council Stoned favor it. Sharp individuals know the score and just say NO. Kansas City tax money for Kansas City Jobs.

most of those billing people (with the exception of a few) are LAZY. LAZY people left over from the John Sharp era of MAST. Ask any person on modified/light duty that has been assigned to that department how much work they get done as compared to the current full time billing people.
