Last time we talked to one of these protestors we asked how long the demonstrations would continue and he said, "as long as it takes . . ."

The majority of the cabbies in this town, regardless of what company, are Somali or middle eastern. Its a little disingenuous to cry about "Foreign" owned companies when the immigrant cabbies send the lions share of their money out of the country.

It doesnt matter if they are somali sending $100 a week to their Uncle Shamad for his new fishing boat, or if it is a born an raised 'Merican spending $100 a week on Porn subscriptions. We are talking about the LOCALLY OWNED AMERICAN CAB COMPANIES WHO DESERVE TO STAY IN BUSINESS.
As big as city hall is on minority participation....what gives! Campaign contributions must go a long way.
