THERESA GARZA RUIZ CAMPAIGN MAKES FINAL FUNDRAISING PUSH BEFORE GOING PUBLIC WITH KANSAS CITY COUNCIL RUN!!!



Behind the scenes Jackson County Legislator Theresa Garza Ruiz is getting all of her ducks in a row before she announces her campaign run to an unlucky Johnson County Star reporter.

Here are the highlights . . .

- Her campaign is mostly union backed with a few Democratic big wig patrons thrown in for good measure.

 - So far, Freedom Inc. has been gun shy about finding an opponent for her . . . There's even talk of a Freedom Inc. deal to stay out of the race since they have lost hold of the 5th District at-Large about a decade ago.

- She's making the rounds @ Democratic events and made a "grand entrance" @ Mayor Cleaver's recent BBQ with a great many members of her campaign team.

Dennis Anthony is a grassroots candidate running against her but right now her key to victory seems to be keeping Freedom, Inc out of the race.

    Good observation, 9:55am.
    Both Theresa and her hubby need to see if they can find actual jobs that require some ability other than schmoozing and directing tax money to friends.
    The amateurish D-list KCMO political class has been dragging the metro area down for years.
    Nobody else in the area wants anyting to do with this mess, and even the northland would really like to cut KCMO south of the river loose and watch them disappear in a swirl down the tubes.
